Which USB ports are able to charge devices?
All the ports are charging at 5W with the below exception
- When no hosts are connected AND you are charging an iPhone the 5W will NOT charge your iPhone.
- The 5W USB-C port (item 1) will not charge an iPhone 12 or iPhone 13.
The 7.5W ports will be charging at 7.5W no matter if the host is connected or not
Computer does not charge at full capacity
We are aware of some models of laptop that only allow 60-65W of power should an external Docking be used. You might see a warning on your laptop in that situation
Warning comes when using laptop using more than 100W of power
"To speed up charging, use the charger that came with your device" warning is coming up with my laptop. Logi Dock will charge your computer up to 100W, meaning charging may be slower than with the original power supply. If your laptop power supply has the capacity of providing more than 100W, this warning may appear.
