The following article will help you successfully set up your Logitech Room Solution and ensure it’s kept up to date to provide the best experience for users. Specific guidance is provided for Logitech bundled MTR, Zoom, and Google room solution kits. Guidance for other Logitech bundled room solutions can be found at the end of this article under Other Resources.

Microsoft Teams Room

Prereqs | First Time Use | Maintenance

Prerequisites

  • Logitech Microsoft PC Bundle (NUC or Lenovo Core)

    • Windows 10 supported (21H2 minimum)

    • Windows 11 recommended

First Time Use

  • Make sure you’ve set up the room in a supported configuration (see Wiring Diagram)

  • Before using your equipment for the first time, make sure your Windows system is up to date. The minimum version required is Windows 10 21H2 (soon to be Windows 11). Reference this Microsoft guide for assistance: Microsoft Support for Updating Windows.

  • Microsoft Teams Rooms app will work on the current version and 1 version prior

    • For Windows 21H2 the minimum version of MTR app is 4.12.126.0 and OS build 19044.12788

    • For Windows 22H2 the minimum version of MTR app is 4.16.134.0 and OS build 22621.525

  • Ensure your Logitech hardware is updated

  • For NUCs

      • Latest update is BNKBL357 version 0092 as of June 12, 2023

      • It is not recommended to update your BIOS if no issue exists

      • Install the latest device drivers from the Intel Download Center

  • For Lenovo

Maintenance

  • The following should always be kept up to date, whether during general use, or after long periods of inactivity:

    • For NUC

    • For Lenovo

      • Update Lenovo ThinkSmart system BIOS and Drivers to ensure the device has the most recent updates. Found here

        • Latest update is M4CKT17A as of June 20, 2023

        • It is not recommended to update your BIOS if no issue exists

    • General Windows, DL, etc

      • For Logitech Bundled Room PCs set up as a Microsoft Teams Room, an automatic, nightly update and reboot is the default setting. This will ensure that your system is up to date.

 

Zoom

Prereqs | First time use | Maintenance

Prerequisites

  • Logitech Zoom PC Bundle (NUC or Lenovo Core)

    • Windows 10 supported

    • Windows 11 recommended

    • macOS 10.14 or higher

    • 2.0 Mbps up and down for single screen

    • 2.0 Mbps up 4.0 Mbps down for dual screen

    • 2.0 Mbps up 6.0 Mbps down for triple screen

  • Additional ZOOM Resources

First Time Use

  • Make sure you’ve set up the room in a supported configuration (see Wiring Diagram)

  • Support for getting started with Zoom Rooms can be found here: Zoom Rooms Setup.

  • Ensure your Logitech hardware is updated

    • Most Logitech VC products are updated via Logitech Sync

  • Boot up your PC and ensure it’s updated

  • For NUCs:

      • Latest update is BNKBL357 version 0092 as of Jun 12, 2023

      • It is not recommended to update your BIOS if no issue exists

      • Install the latest device drivers from the Intel Download Center

  • For Lenovo

Google

Prereqs | First time use | Maintenance

Prerequisites

  • Google Meet supported hardware

  • Logitech Conference Room Camera/System included in your Room solutions bundle

  • Google account with Google Meet provisioning privileges

  • Meet turned on by Google Workspace admin

  • Additional Google Resources

First Time Use

  • Make sure you’ve set up the room in a supported configuration (see Wiring Diagram)

  • Support for getting started with Google Meet can be found here: Set up Meet hardware kits.

  • Ensure your Logitech hardware is updated

    • Logitech device firmware is kept up to date by Google Chrome OS. Updates are packaged into Chrome OS and automatically deployed to the connected Logitech devices on a regular basis. Consult this page for information on what firmware updates are provided by corresponding versions of ChromeOS.

Maintenance

  • Google Meet hardware receives automatic updates that improve functionality of the hardware and software on the device.
  • Google Meet license changes
  • “Send Feedback” button on the Meet touchscreen interface shares diagnostic information directly with Google, for follow up with troubleshooting and support cases. Contact Meet hardware support
