To factory reset your Tap IP or Tap Scheduler follow the instructions below.
From CollabOS Settings directly on your Tap IP or Tap Scheduler, Factory Reset options are accessible from Settings > About > Restart&Reset. The options include:
- Restart
- Reset network and wireless settings
- Erase all data (factory reset)
If access to CollabOS Settings is not possible, a hardware-based factory reset of Tap IP or Tap Scheduler can be done by following these steps:
- Tap IP or Tap Scheduler should be powered and on
- Press and hold (A) Pinhole Button for 5 seconds
- Press (B) Reset button
- Release (B)
- Release (A)
After either method of Factory Reset, the device will go through another power cycle when it powers on and show a circle image on the display as it is erasing data.
