Limited camera modes on Zoom Rooms for Windows
- Products Affected: Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini on Zoom Rooms for Windows.
- Conditions: Zoom Rooms does not show the Speaker Focus camera mode as an option for Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini. If Sight is connected, it won’t activate unless you use the workaround.
- Workaround:
- Disable all camera modes except Manual in the Zoom Admin Portal (Admin > Zoom Rooms > Your Room).
- Enable Speaker View in CollabOS Settings or on Sync.
- Resolution Progress: This is being actively worked on.
Microphone Audio loss when sharing content via HDMI-IN on Rally Bar Huddle using Teams Rooms on Android
- Products Affected: Rally Bar Huddle configured for Teams Rooms on Android with Teams app version 1449/1.0.96.2024042606 (April 2024) in Appliance Mode.
- Conditions: If a user shares content via the HDMI-In port while in a meeting, the microphone on Rally Bar Huddle temporarily stops functioning. Audio from the shared content is audible, but remote participants cannot hear microphone audio from the Rally Bar Huddle. Stopping sharing or muting/unmuting does not resolve the issue.
- Workaround: Users need to leave the meeting and re-join to regain audio.
- Resolution Progress: The fix for this issue will be included in the CollabOS 1.13 release for Rally Bar Huddle.
Device shows "This is embarrassing" message after reboot
- Products Affected: Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, RoomMate in Appliance mode.
- Conditions: A small number of Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, or RoomMate devices have recently shown a "This is embarrassing" message on the display.
- Workaround: A factory reset is required for the device to be functional. Instructions to factory reset can be found here.
- Resolution Progress: This issue is resolved in CollabOS 1.12.268
Teams Admin Center shows Video encoder hardware failure
- Products Affected: Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, RoomMate in Appliance mode.
- Conditions: Teams Rooms on Android users may encounter visual distortions and delays during video transmission in situations where network bandwidth is constrained.
- Workaround: This problem is especially pronounced when operating under conditions of limited network bandwidth.
- Resolution Progress: This is being actively worked on.
Microphone may stop functioning on Rally Bar / Rally Bar Mini running CollabOS 1.12.
- Products Affected: Rally Bar & Rally Bar Mini in Appliance Mode.
- Conditions: Under certain conditions, the microphone on a small number of Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini devices running CollabOS 1.12 might stop working.
- Workaround: A device reboot is required to resolve this issue.
- Update: June 17th, 2024 - Update your device to CollabOS 1.12.264. This version includes a temporary fix that reverts the audio algorithms back to RightSound. A new CollabOS build, which will re-enable RightSound 2, will be available shortly.
- Resolution Progress: Resolved in CollabOS 1.12.268
The "Test camera" function in the device settings of Rally Bar Huddle does not work properly when accessed remotely using Sync Remote UI Access.
- Products Affected: Rally Bar Huddle
- Conditions: When accessing the “Camera test” under “RightSight” settings on Rally Bar Huddle via Sync Remote UI Access the display shows a black screen
- Workaround: Use service provider camera test
- Resolution Progress: This is being actively worked on.
Low resolution video when joining Teams direct guest join call from Zoom Rooms
- Products Affected: Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, RoomMate
- Service Provider: Zoom Rooms Appliance mode
- Conditions: Joining a Teams DGJ(Direct Guest Join) call from a Zoom Rooms device.
- Workaround: In some cases, Re-joining the Teams DGJ call resolves the issue
- Resolution Progress: Investigation ongoing.
GoTo Resolve Remote UI Access - Unable to Wake Up Device When In Low Power State
- Products Affected: Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, RoomMate, Tap IP, Tap Scheduler
- Service Provider: GoTo Resolve
- Conditions: When the CollabOS device enters low power state, the remote session using GoTo Resolve does not wake the device.
- Workaround: The device must be woken up by clicking the "home" button in the remote control screen of GoTo Resolve console.
- Resolution Progress: Fix will be part of a future release of GoTo Resolve application.
