Cable Types and Extension
CAT6a
For connecting the Table Hub to the Display Hub within the Rally system, Logitech requires using CAT6a cabling. CAT6a provides greater bandwidth than CAT6, which doesn't meet the requirements of the cable that connects Rally’s Table and Display Hubs. Shielded, high-bandwidth cabling to handle video, audio, and USB over a single connection is a primary driver for this recommendation. It's possible to use a custom shielded or unshielded cable up to 164 ft (50 m), but it must meet CAT6a or higher specifications. CAT6 or lower spec cables will have a lower maximum bandwidth, which may negatively affect the system.
CAT6a cables can transmit data at 500 MHz speeds. CAT6 cables have a maximum frequency of 250 MHz, supporting similar data rates or potentially less if there is significant interference. Logitech supports CAT6a F/UTP Ethernet cabling for Rally system configuration, although shielded is recommended. If CAT6a cabling isn’t used within the recommended distance of up to 164 feet (50 meters), Logitech does not support such configurations.
Rally Camera and Display Hub Extension
In some environments, it might not be possible to place the Display Hub close enough to the Rally camera. The cable between the two devices can be extended with a Logitech Strong USB cable, a Rally Camera power source, a Rally Camera power splitter, and a USB A to C adapter (user-supplied). Because it is an optical cable, Logitech Strong USB is only available in the lengths of 10m, 25m, and 45m. We do not recommend using a different USB cable for extension as it will not meet the system requirements.

Rally Mic Pod
Rally Plus supports up to seven mic pods and seven mic pod hubs. Rally systems only support one Mic Pod Extension cable however, which must be connected to the table hub. For more information about Mic Pod configuration, consult our Rally Mic Pod Placement Guide.
XLR
The Rally speaker will support a user-supplied 3m mini XLR extension cable. Logitech does not support wiring other speakers into the Rally system. If you want to use other external speakers then you might consider using a DSP and a standalone Rally Camera for video.
