If you're having trouble with the microphone on your headset, try the following:

Make sure your headset is selected as the audio-input device for your computer (see your computer's documentation for help).

Ensure that your headset is selected as the input device in your chat application settings.

Adjust the microphone volume on your computer or chat application.

Verify that the microphone isn't set to "Mute" in either your operating system's audio settings or chat application.
NOTE: Some headsets include a mute button. Be sure your headset isn't set to "Mute".

Try connecting your headset to a different USB port on your computer.

Connect your headset directly to a USB port on your computer, and not to a USB hub or extension.
