Local Network Access is a feature that allows you to set up a new device and modify settings through a computer connected to the same local network utilizing a web browser. For example, you can set up a new device, upload network certificates, adjust camera/audio settings, change network settings, view system information, and more. (For a complete list of settings and features you can configure with Local Network Access, see the article CollabOS Device Management Features.)
In CollabOS 1.6, Local Network Access is available for Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, RoomMate, Tap IP, and Tap Scheduler. What you need to get started:
-
The device must have an Ethernet connection (recommended) or Wi-Fi connection with a valid IP address.
- Note: New device setup is only supported on a wired network.
- Your computer must have a compatible web browser that can access the device IP through the network. (Recommendation: Be sure the device and computer using Local Network Access are on the same IP address and subnet range.)
