Applicable only to devices that use Zoom Rooms Device Operation time with "Control with Idle Time-Out" enabled. When not in a meeting and after the Idle Time-Out, devices can temporarily go to a low power state even if people are in the meeting room. |
This is resolved in Zoom Rooms version 5.15.5, part of CollabOS 1.10 release. |
Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, Microsoft Teams Rooms, CollabOS 1.8.716+ | Microphone does not work in Teams Direct Guest Join (DGJ) call in Zoom Rooms Appliance. | This issue occurs in Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini running CollabOS versions 1.8.716 and newer and when joining a Teams Meeting using Direct Guest Join on a Zoom Rooms Appliance. | Fix integrated into CollabOS 1.10. |
Rally Bar/ Rally Bar Mini, CollabOS 1.9.544/1.9.552 | Rally Bar/ Rally Bar Mini BYOD is unavailable after updating to CollabOS 1.9.544/1.9.552 | After CollabOS update to 1.9.544 or 1.9.552, when connecting a laptop for use in BYOD mode, the Rally Bar/Mini is not detected and therefore not available on the laptop. | Fix integrated into CollabOS 1.10. |
Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini | Degraded audio performance in Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows using Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini due to Teams noise suppression feature and Teams settings do not disable the feature. | Microsoft Teams Rooms 4.12 and higher with Noise Suppression enabled in Teams Room Configuration (default). Logitech Tap, Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows, Lenovo ThinkSmart Core | Intermittent blank screen on Logitech Tap when using Lenovo ThinkSmart Core compute |
Some customers have been experiencing an unexplained blank screen on the Logi Tap when using the Lenovo ThinkSmart Core as a compute for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows. Here is a link to Lenovo’s Knowledge Base article on the subject: |

Tap, M1 or M2 MacBook Pro with M1 Max processor running MacOS 13.3 or MacOS 13.3.1 | M1 or M2 MacBook Pro "WindowServer" process crashes and returns user to MacOS login screen | Plugging an M1, M1 Max, or M2 Macbook into the Tap HDMI ingest causes "WindowServer" process to crash. | 4/26/23 - Tap firmware update 1.1.29 resolves this issue and is now available via Sync. Rally System | Rally System camera cuts out briefly during calls, then comes back. | Rally camera intermittently stops transmitting video, temporarily goes into sleep mode during use, then the camera will resume functionality on its own after a few seconds. Only seen when the computer is connected to the Rally table hub - does not happen when the computer is connected to display hub. | 4/19/23 - Rally System firmware update 1.2.21 mitigates this issue and is now available via Sync. Tap Scheduler running Zoom Rooms | Tap Scheduler Zoom Rooms UI fonts larger than normal. | The Tap Scheduler Zoom UI fonts appear larger than expected and larger than on previous Zoom Rooms and CollabOS versions. | 2/24/23 - Issue mitigated in CollabOS 1.8 update. RoomMate running Collab OS 1.7.425 and MTRoA with MeetUp or Rally camera | On RoomMate after an extended period of inactivity, the camera on the MTRoA camera is unavailable. | When using Microsoft Teams and CollabOS on RoomMate and MeetUp, Rally System or Rally Camera is in use as the MTRoA selected camera, after some time, the view from the camera goes to a black screen and in-application no self-view or far end camera image can be seen. This happens intermittently and the camera still responds and shows an image when doing a Camera Test. | 2/24/23 - Resolved in CollabOS 1.8 update. |
Brio, Logi Dock | When Brio is connected to Logi Dock, video tearing and breaks in the video stream can be seen both locally and on the remote end of the call. | This issue appears when Brio is connected to Logi Dock with the included Brio USB A cable. Scribe and Share Button with Rally Bar/Rally Bar Mini/RoomMate running Zoom Rooms version 5.11 | Scribe whiteboard output is blank when using Share Button. | Pressing the purple share button for Scribe, when not on a Zoom Rooms call, causes the display to show a blank screen and not the Scribe whiteboard output. | 12/5/22- Resolved with Zoom Rooms app version 5.12. Sync, Mac Computers running OS 11.x or greater | “Install failed” error when installing Sync bulk provisioning package on some Macs. | When installing a bulk provisioning package on Mac OS 11.x or newer systems, the install will fail. The installer starts, then when it gets to provisioning, the command line returns the install failed error. | 12/5/22 - Resolved in the latest Sync update. Click here for Sync portal release notes. |
Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini running in BYOD mode | Rally Bar/ Rally Bar Mini in BYOD mode will display white blank screen when connecting/disconnecting USB/HDMI. | If an HDMI and USB connection between a laptop and Rally Bar/Mini are made in quick succession, a white or blank screen may occur on the room display. The same may also be seen if, with an active HDMI connection, the USB connection is disconnected. This same issue can be seen when attempting to use Swytch in a single cable, BYOD configuration. |

Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, RoomMate in Zoom Rooms running CollabOS 1.6 or newer | Logitech Device using Zoom Device Management is not able to update to latest CollabOS releases. | CollabOS devices inside proxy/firewalled networks using Zoom Device Management are prevented from updating to the latest CollabOS releases. Other update methods (via Sync portal and local device settings) work as expected. | 10/19/22 - Fix available in CollabOS 1.7.552 / 1.7.570. NUC imaged with Microsoft Teams Rooms on REV 2 running Intel Iris graphics driver version 30.0.101.1191/30.0.101.1191t | Microsoft Teams Room is unresponsive to connected devices such as Logitech Tap. | Intel NUC (Model NUC11i5TNK) appears to have no USB or Display functionality. The LED on the front may be flashing or solid on. | 7/28/22 resolved - New Intel graphics driver version 31.0.101.3222/31.0.101.2111 is now available via Intel. Meetup, PCs/Laptops on 11th gen Intel CPUs running Windows 10 21H1 | Audio does not enumerate properly after disconnecting from Meetup and reconnecting to another Meetup. | On first connection, audio enumerates correctly. MeetUp running SW 1.16.82 or earlier, Microsoft Teams Room on Windows (MTRoW) | After nightly reboot, MeetUp audio becomes intermittent. Device manager shows a “yellow exclamation” symbol. | MeetUp mic and speaker are not recognized by the host device. MTRoW systems are predominantly reported as affected and the issue is typically seen in the morning after a nightly reboot, sporadically, or every 2-3 days. | 7/25/22 - Resolved in MeetUp FW upgrade 1.0.264. Deployment of this fix is rolling out through Logitech Sync as well. Check the MeetUp downloads page for the latest firmware. Power cycle of the MeetUp is required to restore normal operation before installing the updated firmware. |
MTRoW NUC systems running 4.12.126.0/feature build 21H2 (19044.1706) | The Teams loading screen shows a pop-up message "you'll need a new app to open this skype-mrx." causing the app to not launch. | This issue has been reported on other MTRoW systems and is not unique to systems with Logitech hardware. | 7/14/22 - Resolved by new MTR on Windows app version 4.12.139.0. Meetup, Rally running Sync version 2.5.116 | Poor video quality; color and/or brightness are distorted / abnormal | Sync App update (2.5.116) included a new feature to allow manual adjustment of MeetUp and Rally Camera settings. The default values for auto-exposure and auto-white balance are not applied for devices on this version. | 6/29/22 - Resolved in Sync 2.5.125 update. RoomMate running CollabOS 1.4.90 and newer, Zoom Rooms | When loading images and videos for Zoom digital signage on RoomMate, only images are displayed. If only a video is uploaded, it will play. | When an image and a video are loaded at the same time, just the image will be displayed. | 12/15/21 - Resolved in CollabOS 1.4.22 update.
