Tap IP is network-connected and runs a video conferencing platform controller client. The client then communicates with the video conferencing service. For example; on Rally Bar or RoomMate, the Zoom Room Client Application is running and connected to Zoom’s hosted platform. On Tap IP, the Zoom Room Controller Application is running and connected to Zoom’s hosted platform. Communication between Client and Controller application is facilitated through Zoom’s hosted platform.
In the case of MeetUp, Rally or Rally Plus, when they’re attached to either RoomMate or a Windows PC, the computer is running the Zoom Room Client Application, which in turn, is connected to Zoom’s hosted platform. Communication between Client and Controller application is facilitated through Zoom’s hosted platform.
