Swytch was designed and intended for Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) in rooms with a room system, to enable running a meeting from a laptop, using the AV equipment of the room system (Camera, Speaker, Mic, and Display). Upon disconnection, the AV equipment (Camera, Speaker, Mic, and Display) is returned back to the room system for use in calls hosted on the room system. Room System hosted calls and BYOD hosted calls are mutually exclusive activities.  Swytch was not designed to be a solution for screen sharing into an active call on a room system.

Connecting a laptop to Swytch during an active call on a room system may cause error messages and/or adverse side effects to the active call. Using Swytch in this way is not recommended, nor supported.
