As B525 and other webcams are USB enabled, video and audio -- plus most other features -- are supported by Windows, Mac and Chrome natively through the UVC standard.   Using the UVC standard, no driver installation is required to support your B525 or other Logitech conferencecam or webcam.

• A “driver” is a program for Windows that controls the operation of the device within the operating system.When a Logitech USB-connected device is plugged into a Windows-enabled computing system, Windows will automatically load and configure a driver software within Windows and notify when the installation is complete.
